Super Castle Faces 0.3 How to make mods
New features:
- Mod support (v0.2)
- A walking enemy or also called Goomba (v0.3)
How to do mods:
Create a folder called "mods" in the same directory as the game, in the mods folder create a folder that is the name of your mod, then create a folder called "res", the res folder will be the custom game resources and custom maps
Custom maps:
Download this file: https://playlook.de/static/supercastlefaces.tiled-project then put it to the same directory as the game
Path to your map: mods/MODNAME/res/map/MAPNAME.tmx
Open Tiled, and open the project inside tiled click on File->New->New Map
then put in "Infinite" map size and tile size must be "256x256"
Open in the sidebar "res/map/objects.tsx" and "res/map/tileset1.tsx", then create your map. For any issues ask in the comments.
Custom game resources:
Look in the normal res folder for the path of the resources and copy them ("res/gfx/wall.png" will be "mod/MODNAME/res/gfx/wall.png")
the size must be the same
